35th Anniversary Celebration

September 21, 2024 06:00 PM until September 22, 2024 12:00 AM

Volcano is celebrating its 35th anniversary!

Join us for a two-day celebration on September 21st and 22nd!

Celebrate like it’s 1989 with our iconic Frozen Screwdrivers, available at their original price of $3.75, and Jello Shots for just $2.

On Saturday, September 21, starting at 6 PM, come enjoy drinks, food, music, and raffles! At 8 PM, prepare for some brain-freezing fun with our Frozen Screwdriver drinking competition! How quickly can you finish a Frozen? Will you be crowned the Frozen Trophy champion?

Staff from Volcano over the years will be visiting to honor this milestone, and we hope YOU – our Volcano Houston Family – will join us for a memorable evening.

On Sunday, September 22, from 10 AM to 2 PM, we will host an Artisan Bazaar. Stop by to support 20 local artists, find unique handmade items, enjoy some brunch, and have a fantastic time!

At 1 PM, stick around for some live celebratory music by Demroots!

At 5 PM, don’t miss the Blues In Hi-Fi  Show Broadcast with Clint Broussard and friends from KPFT 90.1 FM.

"Clint Broussard is a walking encyclopedia of musical knowledge and the radio show and podcast hosts flexes his strengths every week hosting his Monday afternoon show on KPFT, Blues in Hi-Fi, and online with his podcast, A Day In The Life.

Blues in Hi-Fi focuses on the earliest days of rhythm and blues and swamp pop with an emphasis on the Gulf Coast whereas on his podcast, he can play everything from Rick Nelson to Radiohead and has the freedom to divulge.

No matter what music Broussard is playing, he is always quick to fill listeners in on the behind the scene stories of artists and tie the history back to Houston admitting that he is always on the quest for new information which in turn influences future themes in his shows." - By Gladys Fuentes Houston Press

All raffle and donation proceeds will go to "Friends of El Salvador", a non-profit dedicated to empowering underserved adults and youth in El Salvador through education and health initiatives.
